Hello! My name is Ben. I write poetry sometimes. I wanted to put it all in one place, so I made this website. I mostly write free verse because I find it easiest to work with, but I sometimes use other styles of prose. I hope you enjoy!

About Me: My name is Ben Schnur. I'm based in New Jersey and I'm 23. I studied psychology and philosophy at Rowan University. I'm a big reader and have always been drawn towards writing as a form of creative expression. I've never been good at visual art due to a hand tremor, so writing is the approach I take to expressing myself. I would describe myself as a hopeless romantic, which I think shows in what I write. I feel emotions strongly and appreciate that poetry allows my passions to be stirred in a way that I can express in words. Much of my work is based around imagery; I'll start with a picture in my head and grow it into a fleshed out idea. Some of my favorite poets are Robert Frost, Langston Hughes, James Joyce, and T.S.
